Power Elite Male Preparatory Academy is a North Carolina public charter school proposed to open in the fall of 2022.  The school is applying to the North Carolina State Board of Education for a “Charter” to operate as a K-8th grade public charter school in Mecklenburg County.  The school will serve students in Grades K-5 during its first year of operation and will expand by one grade level per year until reaching grade 8.  The school will be located in the city of Charlotte.  Power Elite Male Academy will initially serve students from Mecklenburg and surrounding counties.
